1992 BMW Z1 Convertible

1992 BMW Z1 Convertible

Seller's description

Amazing "BMW Toprot" 1992 BMW Z1 with matching dark gray interior. Powered by a BMW M20B25 engine (2494 cc soch straight six) producing 168 hp and attached to a 5 speed manual transmission (Getrag 260/5). Engine, gearbox and front suspension were borrowed from the E30 - 325 i.
The BMW Z1 was a limited production run of 8000 cars. The majority of 6443 cars was sold in Germany. Produced from march 1989 to June 1991. This example was built 12/05/1990. With a special code SA818 version for Spain. So this is one of the only 100 Z1's that were delivered in Spain.
It was delivered into the town of LLeida in Catalonia. Oil change cards and the yearly technical control card proves the mileage of the car. And yes indeed it only has 7052 km from new. After a full check up and investigation on the car we can confirm that it still has the first and original set of tyres on the light alloy wheels. The Pirelli P700 Z 225/45 ZR 16 tires wear a dot code (date produced) that is 2 months earlier then the production date of the car. Without any signs of wear. Also brake pads and most belts are the original ones. Inside the boot you will find the original and unused spare and all the tools. Even the original emergency set is in the boot.
We were very delighted that after months of talking to the one "lady" owner of the car we were able to buy this beautiful, one owner and very low mileage car. Always interest to find and require such interesting cars. Now this car is ready for the next passionate owner. Looking for the next car in his collection. A piece of BMW history.
