1972 Jaguar XJ13 Recreation

Seller's description

The Jaguar XJ13 was a sports car prototype with a V12 mid-engine, with the Jaguar after many years of break 1966/1967 wanted to compete in the 24 - hour race at Le Mans again. Since the early 1950s Jaguar had been thinking about a twelve-cylinder engine for racing. In 1964 the project concreted its form. The lines of this prototype evolved from design studies by Malcolm Sayer, which was finished as a one-off coachwork already mid-1966.
This stunning model was produced by Proteus 1991-93 based closely on the XJ 13 factory race car. For several years the car was located in England, where it was maintained by Don Law and Jaguar Racing Green. Today, the vehicle is registered in Germany. With an annual mileage of about 3.000 miles, the car has an almost ?like new appearance. The performance of this uncompromising race car, are absolutely overwhelming. And best of all - it has a road registration!
