1967 Fiat 850 Spider Bertone
Seller's description
The 850 Spider Bertone is the ultimate proof that good things come in small packages, and it’s incredible how many good things Giorgetto Giugiaro managed to put into this design when he was working for Bertone back in 1965. It was an immediate success when presented at Geneve’s Motor Show being the obvious and affordable offspring of a revolutionary design that only few years ago introduced a new language in car design, the Bertone Corvair Testudo prototype.
The first series would remain in production until 1968 when regulations forced the introduction of different details, most notably the loss of the “miura/testudo style” lights in favour of a more traditional vertical lens.
We haven’t seen a series one for sale in a long time, even more so if we consider one with current MOT and english registration.
The lovely example for sale today is still on its original paint and is in perfect running condition with interior and soft top in in fantastic shape. Ready to be perfected with a light restoration or to be enjoyed as it is.
